About MAGORA

A marketplace for magic lectures

MAGORA is a marketplace built for magicians to create, discover, sell, and learn from magic lectures.

Great knowledge should not be difficult to discover simply because its creator is not widely known. MAGORA was created to give both established and lesser-known magicians a place where strong lectures can be found, shared, and valued on their own merits.

As magic has moved from DVDs to streaming and digital content, lectures have become scattered across many different websites. MAGORA brings them together in one place while helping creators connect more directly with the magicians who want to learn from them.

Built for magicians

Magic is different from many other creative fields. Methods, gimmicks, techniques, and unpublished ideas often need to remain within the magic community.

MAGORA is designed with that responsibility in mind. Our goal is to build a marketplace where knowledge can circulate among magicians while respecting the value of the work creators choose to share.

The marketplace is shaped by its creators—not by the personal preferences of a single shop or company. MAGORA operates behind the scenes by maintaining the platform, reviewing listings, supporting secure payments, and providing reliable delivery of lecture content.

A platform you can trust

Creating an account and listing a lecture on MAGORA is free. There are no listing fees and no recurring subscription fees.

Buyer purchases are processed securely through Stripe. Creator payouts are sent through PayPal.

Creators only need to register the PayPal email address where they want to receive payouts. For payout setup, you do not need to provide MAGORA directly with your bank account details, legal name, address, or other similar personal information. Creating a PayPal account is simple, and the Creator Dashboard includes guidance on how to create an account and set up your payout email. MAGORA never asks for your PayPal password or access to your PayPal account.

Lectures are reviewed before publication. This review is not intended to judge a creator's style or decide which type of magic deserves to be sold. Its purpose is to help maintain a legitimate marketplace and reduce misleading or inappropriate listings.

Simple, transparent fees

There is no cost to create an account or list a lecture.

When a sale is completed:

Creator share

80%

Goes to the creator.

MAGORA platform fee

20%

Supports the platform and its continued development.

Creators can track their earnings at any time, and once funds become available, request a payout with a single click.

The platform fee supports the infrastructure required to operate and improve MAGORA, including video delivery, digital content hosting, payment infrastructure, system maintenance, and continued development.

We believe creators should know clearly how the platform is funded before they decide to sell here.

We want your lectures to be discovered

MAGORA's role does not end when a creator publishes a lecture.

We want to grow an active marketplace where good lectures are actually discovered. As the platform grows, we will actively work to introduce MAGORA to more magicians, improve product discovery, promote the marketplace, and develop tools that help creators reach the right audience.

Our success depends on creators succeeding here. That is why part of the platform fee is continually reinvested into maintaining, promoting, and improving MAGORA.

We cannot promise that every lecture will sell—but we can promise that building a healthy marketplace and bringing more magicians to it is part of our job.

Built to grow with the community

MAGORA is still growing. We expect the platform to improve through feedback from the magicians who actually use it.

Search, creator tools, international accessibility, subtitles and translation, community features, and other improvements will continue to evolve over time.

The goal is not simply to operate another online shop, but to build useful infrastructure for the magic lecture market.
